Our proposal intends to confer a strong, identifiable ensemble layout to the entire Bacelo Village, happening in 3 main strategies:

The reordening of the urban fabric trough the restoration of a typical model identified in the place – the “patio”, a particular mediterranean type of courtyard – generator of a matrix on internal growth and space densification, occupying intersticial areas broken up in the core of great existing blocks and conferring to them visible and functional acess.
The rearrangement of the boundary stip between the mountain range of Serra do Louro and the urban gathering, changing this agricultural zone into a new one, whose ancient agrarian stucture can be generator of a distinctive stong image of this zone itself and the adjacent area relations it performs.
The establishment of a new apex of centrality formed with a set of cultural equipments and public spaces of intrinsic urban character, related trough a large environment park wich also constitutes the landscape framing of Quinta do Anjo prehistoric caves, valuing its patrimonial significance.
